Blueprinted stock 5.0 L engine, with unported stock intake manifold and throttle body, unported stock heads (with stock valves), a custom camshaft (stock lift), stock short block, 24 lb injectors, EEC-IV EFI controlled by a TwEECer RT, full-length 1-5/8" open headers, 4.88 or 5.14 rear gears (depending on class and track), Doug Nash Race 5 speed transmission, 30x9" slicks, with only springs, shocks and bushings changed for suspension modifications.

The car held the National Records for the M/Stock class from 1997-1999, when the records were finally retired, unbroken. Best performance was 11.96 @ 113 mph at the 1998 US Nationals in Indianapolis.

Twin Turbo Small Block FORD

This engine is a 336 cid small block Ford with twin turbochargers. It dyno'd 1254 hp @ 7200 RPM running 18 pounds of boost. Precise air/fuel ratio tuning was achieved through the use of the FJO WBO2 controller.

Built by Chris Barnes with additional fabrication and tuning by Bart Spivey of BartsWorks.

1991 T-Bird

The engine is a bone stock (internally) 97 5.4L from an E-350 van with custom one-off blower assembly using a 2300 AX Whipple blower fabricated by BartsWorks and tuned using the FJO WBO2 controller. Other modified or custom fabricated items include the transmission, rear, suspension, steering, brakes, tires, and interior. A very long list!
